Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, born on May 15, 1966, is a distinguished Nigerian Catholic Priest and politician. He assumed office as the Executive Governor of Benue State on May 29, 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to progressive governance.

The Benue Agro-Industrial Processing and Economic Transformation Bureau (BNAGRO) is His Excellency’s vision and brainchild, established with the overall mandate to fast track the development of the agro-industrial sector, into a vehicle for economic transformation.

BNAGRO’s Core Mandate is to undertake, drive, develop and catalyze the emergence of a dynamic Agro-industrial processing sector in Benue State.
